CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />_TAWTTTRav y ynnr. <br />A Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held on the <br />above given date at 6.24 P. M., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, Mayor <br />Gaytan presiding. <br />FLAG SALUTE: <br />Mayor Gaytan invited Mayor Pro Tempore Cook to lead the assembly in the <br />Pledge of Allegiance. <br />INVOCATION: <br />Chaplain Kim Starr offered the invocation. <br />DOLL CALL: <br />Present were Councilmember Don Sanders, Councilmember John Hutton , <br />Councilmember Kelly Chastain, Councilmember Betty Cook, <br />Councilmember Deirdre Bennett, and Mayor Karl E. Gaytan. Also present <br />were City Manager Garcia, Interim CityAttorney. Carvalho and City Clerk <br />Barrera. Councilmember James B. Grimsby was absent for roll call but was <br />present following the invocation. <br />CLOSED SESSION: <br />Mayor Gaytan announced that two RDA Closed Session items were continued <br />to the City Clerk's Closed Session. <br />Interim City Attorney Carvalho announced the need to add an item Gibbo <br />V. 9W of ColtonJanuary 6, 1998 <br />, initially scheduled for the Janu - s <br />, which was <br />canceled but the item was not carried over to this agenda and discussion was <br />now necessary as Special Counsel needed direction for a court appearance. <br />Interum City Attorney Carvalho announced that another item would be added to <br />Closed Session, pursuant to G. C. §54957, to discuss Personnel in the Mayor's <br />Office. <br />Motion/second by CM Sanders/Bennett to add the two items to Closed Session <br />carried with no objection from the Members. <br />f�r�� <br />
