Interim City Attorney Carvalho announced that City Council would convene in <br />Closed Session, pursuant to Government Code §54956.9(a), to confer with <br />Legal Counsel regarding the following existing litigation: <br />WHC-Three Investors L.P. v. City of Colton <br />Guerrero v. City of Colton <br />City of Colton v. Allan B. Steward <br />Albert Gibboney v. City of Colton <br />In addition, Interim City Attorney Carvalho announced City Council would <br />address the two items under the Agency Board agenda that were not previously <br />completed. <br />At 6:27 P. M., Mayor Gaytan declared the meeting adjourned to Closed Session <br />and at 8:00 P. M., the meeting was reconvened with all Members present. <br />REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY MEETING (Continued) <br />Interim City Attorney Carvalho stated that the two RDA Closed Session items <br />were discussed and there was no reportable action. <br />There being no objection, RDA Chairman Sanders declared the Redevelopment <br />Agency Meeting adjourned. <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING (Continued) <br />Interim City Attorney Carvalho stated there was no reportable action on the <br />items discussed and said Closed Session would be reconvened at the end of <br />Council Meeting to discuss the City of Colton v. Allan Steward matter and a <br />personnel matter. <br />Introduction - City Manager and Economic Development Director <br />Mayor Gaytan introduced City Manager Henry Garcia, who spoke briefly about <br />his goals for the success of the City.
