Boards and Commissions <br />Parks & Recreation Commission <br />Motion and second by CM Bennett/Chastain to formalize the agreement between CM Cook and <br />Mayor Gaytan to exchange their respective appointments to the Parks & Recreation Commission, <br />namely, Michael A. Correra to be the "At -Large" representative and Rosemary Colunga to be the <br />"District 4" representative. Motion carried with Mayor Gaytan absent. <br />Cemetery Commission <br />CM Chastain announced the resignation of Roy Hudgins and declared a vacancy in the Cemetery <br />Commission, to be published in the newspaper and announced via public access channel. <br />Upcoming Conferences <br />There was no discussion. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />Rent Stabilization <br />This was the time fixed to consider amendment to the decontrol provision of the rent stabilization <br />ordinance. <br />Mayor Pro Tempore Cook declared the Public Hearing "Open." <br />Mayor Pro Tempore Cook announced that the item to be considered had not been reviewed by the <br />Mobile Home Rent Review Commission and, with consent of City Council, matter was continued <br />to July 7, 1998 meeting. <br />MOTION/VOTE: Motion/second made by CM Hutton/Grimsby to continue the Public Hearing <br />to July 7, 1998, to afford time for the Commission to meet, carried with Mayor Gaytan absent. <br />Reche Canyon Rehabilitation, Inc. <br />This was the time and place fixed to consider appealing the Planning Commission's decision to <br />uphold conditions of approval for File Index Number D-15-98, Reche Canyon Rehabilitation, <br />Inc. , Parking Lot Product. <br />Mayor Pro Tempore Cook declared the Public Hearing "open." <br />City Clerk Barrera submitted an Affidavit of Publication and reported that no protests or <br />objections were received. <br />Council Mins June 16, 1998 2 <br />
