Hall to discuss the following streets: Veteran's Way, Citrus, Bordwell and Virginia, 9' and 10'. <br />On the alley improvement which is "on hold", City Manager Garcia announced the re -alignment <br />of a sewer manhole in that alley had been completed and the alley would soon be taken care of. <br />District 1 - CM Sanders spoke on the "roving" maintenance worker and asked Staff to attend the <br />meeting on July 9' with Congressman Calvert regarding the Delhi Sand Fly. He requested weed <br />abatement in the areas off of Meridian and around Garcia School. He spoke on the Green <br />ordinance, the running water at Meridian and Valley and housing rehabilitation program for the <br />west -end. <br />At Larg - Mayor Gaytan requested a report on the housing rehabilitation program and HUD. <br />He requested the return of the "slumlord" ordinance. He asked the City Traffic Engineer, and <br />Traffic Conunittee, to study and determine the feasibility of having a stop light at Citrus and <br />Rancho. He acknowledged positive comments from the community and applauded the City <br />Council for the street work that is ongoing. He suggested a pavement management program and <br />congratulated Council and staff for its work in improving Colton's quality of life. <br />AGENDA REVIEW: <br />MOTION/VOTE: CM Cook, seconded by CM Sanders made Motion, to approve the Consent <br />Calendar. Discussion followed: <br />Item 19 - Inquiry was made on whether information defining each and every LLMD and outlining <br />responsibilities would be available at the public hearing. City Manager Garcia agreed that the <br />information would be delineated as to what zones are in the district; who is responsible and the <br />actual work schedule. <br />The initial motion carried upon unanimous vote. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR: <br />(5) Minutes - Approved Minutes for the Adjourned Regular Meeting held June 8, 1999 and <br />Minutes for the Regular Meeting held June 15, 1999, on file in the Office of the City <br />Clerk. <br />(6) Warrants - Approved Payroll Warrants #196645 to 197025, dated 06/15/99, totaling <br />$432,711.97; Payroll Warrants #197026 to #197156, dated 06/23/99, totaling $69,842.32; <br />Payroll Warrants #197159 to #197542, dated 06/29/99, totaling $439,685.46; Payable <br />Warrants #25600 to #25999, dated 06/10/99, totaling $903,865.06; Payable Warrants <br />#26000 to #26229, dated 06/17/99, totaling $549,593.31; and, Payable Warrants #26230 <br />to #263 10, dated 06/24/99, totaling $186,949.79, on file in the Finance Department. <br />(7) Claims - Denied claims against the City submitted by Calvary Missions, Inc. and Jose <br />Luis Gonzalez. <br />City Council Mins July 6, 1999 5 <br />
