Motion made by Mayor Gaytan, seconded by CM Bennett and carried upon unanimous vote, to approve Urgency Ordinance No. 0-09-99, enacted pursuant to California Government Code Section 56868 temporarily prohibiting the establishment of power generating windmills and similar structures that generate power from harnessing wind, pending study and adoption of regulatory and stoning standards.
