MOTION/VOTE: After discussion on the missing <br />links program and the 2/22/00 workshop, motion/second by CM Cook/Bennett to approve <br />Item 4 carried upon unanimous vote. <br />(5) Personnel/Public Works - PULLED FOR DISCUSSION AND SEPARATE VOTE [See <br />Below] Approve Request for Recruitment and Ratification of Employee Appointment to <br />the Full-time Position of Maintenance Worker III in the Public Works Department, <br />Building Maintenance Division, prior to Vacancy. <br />MOTION/VOTE: Motion/second by CM Cook/Chastain to approve Item 5 carried upon <br />unanimous vote. <br />(6) Agreement - Approved a 50 -year license agreement with the San Bernardino County <br />Flood Control District for the RIX and SARI lines' rights-of-way in flood control <br />channels. <br />(7) Change Order - Approved a change order in the amount of $39,800 to Pacific Hydrotech <br />and approved acceptance of the equipping of Well No. 26 as 100% complete and <br />authorized the Utility Director to file the Notice of Completion. <br />(8) Contract - Awarded a contract for computer system support services, for the Finance <br />Department to SYMCAS-TSG in the amount of $60,180 for FY 1999-2000. <br />(9) Additional Streets/Stop Intersections - Approved and adopted a resolution amending <br />Resolution No. 2119, to include additional through streets and stop intersections, <br />Glenwood approaching Westwood, RESOLUTION NO. R-93-99. <br />(10) Additional Streets/Stop Intersections - Approved and adopted a resolution amending <br />Resolution No. 2119, to include additional through streets and stop intersections, 10d' <br />Street approaching "O" Street, RESOLUTION NO. R-94-99. <br />(11) Claims - Denied the Claim Against the City Submitted by Olegario Ruiz. <br />(12) Claim Settlement Authority Adjustment - Approved the Human Resource Director's <br />settlement authority adjustment on Liability Claims from $7,500 To $15,000 <br />(13) Restroom Restoration - PULLED FOR DISCUSSION AND SEPARATE VOTE [See <br />Below] Authorize Appropriation of Recycling Revenues in the Amount of $5,400 for a <br />Restroom Fixtures Replacement Project at Dauer Park, Davis Park, Fleming Park and <br />Veterans Park. <br />Inquiry was made on why Quimby funds are not being used and the response was that <br />such funds are used for development of new parks and these items were minor fixtures or <br />improvements to the parks.
