0 Expansion, remodeling and land acquisition costs estimated at $2,386,730. <br />Traffic Miticiation Fees <br />• Current Traffic Mitigation Fee is based on the 1993 "Mohle Grover Study." — 7 salient <br />points were listed. <br />• Recommended Traffic Mitigation Fee methodology is based on the "Mohle Grover" <br />premises with 5 important differences were listed. <br />Project costs allocated to Traffic Fees reduced from $49,079,964 to $13, 174,502. <br />"Pass by factor" credit given for certain land use types. <br />Examples of pass by trip reductions for certain land use types (10 listed). <br />Examples of Revised Traffic Fee for Particular Projects (3 listed, applying formula of fee <br />per 1000 sq.ft.). <br />Discussion and general comments taken by staff from Council resulted in a Motion by Mayor <br />Gaytan and seconded by CM Cook that the City Manager bring this item back in the <br />appropriate Public Hearing format. Motion carried with no opposition to the motion. <br />Code Enforcement Update <br />Police Chief Crowe made opening comments that included a brief background in reference <br />related to the transition of the Code Enforcement Division from the Community <br />Development Department to the jurisdiction of the Police Department. He introduced Sgt. <br />Frank Coe, Jr. who would present programs that the department proposes to implement, <br />that would increase compliance of the existing municipal code. <br />Sgt.
