The following areas and recommendations were outlined for Council consideration: <br />Parks <br />Authorize Funding for Parks Long Range Master Plan Study ($25,000). <br />Adopt Parks Fee Schedule as Recommended by "Topping Study" to be effective July 1, <br />2000. <br />Subject Apartments and SFR Projects with 4 lots or less to the Quimby Ordinance. <br />Changes must go through Public Hearing Process. <br />Storm Drain Fees <br />Approach the County Flood Control District and encourage financial participation in the <br />preparation of a Citywide Storm Drain Study. <br />Water/Wastewater Fees <br />Current fee methodologies recently established. <br />No recommendations. <br />Police Station <br />Establish Police Development Impact Fee of $149 per unit for SFR. Fee is based on the <br />following: <br />0 Build -out population increment of 26,124. <br />M Established standard of 1 police staff member (sworn & non sworn) per 530 <br />residents. <br />0 Established standard of 216.8 square feet per police staff member. <br />0 Total Cost including improvements, land, and equipment is projected to be <br />$2,452,616. <br />Fire Station <br />Establish Fire Development Impact Fee of $106 for SFR. Fee is based on the following: <br />The estimate that 1 additional fire station will be needed to serve population at build- <br />out. <br />Cost of fire station, land, vehicles, and associated equipment estimated to be <br />$1,750,180. <br />Library Fee <br />Establish Library Impact Fee of $215 for SFR. Fee is based on the following: <br />* Additional 14,368 square feet to serve population at build -out based on standard of <br />.55 sq.ft./capita. <br />* Additional 52,248 books based on standard of 2 books/capita and $30/book. <br />* 50% Recovery level or $2,278,064. <br />Civic Center Impact Fees <br />0 Establish Civic Center Impact fee of $77 for SFR.
