CITY OF COLTON <br />CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />SEPTEMBER 07, 1999 <br />Regular Meeting held on the above given date at 6:13. P. M., in the Council Chambers of City <br />Hall, with Mayor Gaytan, presiding. <br />FLAG SALUTE: <br />Police Chief Patrick Crowe led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />INVOCATION <br />Chaplain Robert Johnson offered the invocation and prayed for five local teens that died in a car <br />accident. Mayor Gaytan called for a moment of silence in memory of Carissa Castaneda, Nicole <br />Martell, Leah Feldhaus, Sharon Bjornstad and Matthew Paul Lopez. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />PR£S5`%!7 <br />CM Donald J. Bennett <br />City Attorney Carvalho <br />➢ Proclamation was read declaring Fire Prevention Week, October 3-9, 1999, "Fire Drills: The <br />Great Escape!" Fire Chief Tom Hendrix accepted the document. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />Change of Zone from R-1 to R-1/PC <br />Appeal/John Reichel, Inc., File Index No. DT -28-99. <br />This was the time and place fixed to consider an ordinance approving a change of zone from R-1 <br />(single family residential) to R-1/PC (Planned Community) for property located at the southwest <br />corner of Citrus Street and Pennsylvania Avenue in the City of Colton. <br />Also, this was the time and place fixed to consider an appeal by John Reichel from the Planning <br />Commission action denying a request for conditional approval of tentative tract No. 16019 and <br />City Council Mins Sept 7, 1999 1 <br />
