(6) Colton Museum Restoration Project - Rejected for cause the construction bids for the <br />Colton Museum Restoration Project opened on March 14, 2000, and authorized Staff to <br />solicit new Bids for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Project #104-22212 <br />- Colton Museum Restoration. <br />(7) CDBG Funds- Approved and adopted the resolution authorizing the reprogramming of <br />$34,774.95 of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from the Colton <br />Contingency/Unprogrammed Account to the activity, "Historic Preservation - Colton <br />Museum," RESOLUTION NO. R-24-00. <br />(8) Department Name Change - Approved a request to change the name of the "Neighborhood <br />Services Department" to the "Parks, Recreation & Family Services Department." <br />(9) Easement - Granted a Slope Easement on Riverside Avenue South of Agua Mansa Road. <br />(10) Travel Cost over $1.000 per Person - Granted approval for the Utility Director to Travel <br />to Orlando, Florida, on June 9-14, 2000, to attend the American Public Power Association <br />National Conference 2000. <br />(11) Personnel/Electric - Approved the request for recruitment and ratification of two, full-time <br />employee appointments to the position of Powerline Technician in the Utility Department. <br />(12) Purchase -Natural Gas Dispensers - Approved the appropriation of funds from the AQMD <br />Air Pollution Reduction Fund, for the purchase and installation of two (2) additional re- <br />conditioned natural gas fueling stations, in the amount of $9,000. <br />(13) Claims - Denied the claims against the City submitted by Theresa Quijada and Bernadette <br />Castaneda. <br />(14) Agreement - Approved and adopted a resolution approving the execution of the Parking <br />Lease and Disposition Agreement between the City of Colton and Highpoint Properties, <br />LP, a California Limited Partnership, RESOLUTION NO. R-25-00. <br />(15) Mt Vernon Corridor RDA Project - Approved and adopted a resolution making findings, <br />pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 33445, and consenting to the use and payment <br />of tax increment funds for the acquisition, installation and construction of various public <br />improvements which benefit the Mt. Vernon Corridor Redevelopment Project and the <br />report from the Planning Commission pursuant to Government Code Sections 65401 and <br />65402, RESOLUTION NO.
