It was suggested that the matter be <br />referred to the Banner Program Committee. <br />District 5 - Mayor Pro Tempore Bennett thanked Staff for the Reche Canyon signs and the <br />flowers planted and for the Washington Street drainage that has been kept clear. On crosswalks <br />and traffic calm, she asked that CM DeLaRosa's concern be referred to the Police Chief. She <br />urged that a presentation regarding the SANBAG corridors, that impact the City directly, be <br />agendized for City Council's formal action. She reported on two Town Hall meetings. <br />BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br />District 4 Appointment <br />MOTION/VOTE: Following nomination by CM Cook, motion/second by CM Sanders/Chastain <br />to ratify the appointment of Peggy Rayburn to the Code Enforcement Commission, carried with <br />no opposition thereto. <br />AGENDA REVIEW: <br />City Manager Garcia requested approval of Items Nos. 2 through 20, except for Item No. 12 <br />which was pulled. <br />MOTIONNOTE: Motion by CM Chastain, seconded by CM Sanders, to approve the Consent <br />Calendar, EXCEPT for Item 12, carried upon unanimous vote. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR: <br />(2) Minutes - Approved Minutes for the Regular Meeting held February 15, 2000 and Minutes for <br />the Regular Meeting held April 4, 2000, on file in the Office of the City Clerk. <br />(3) Warrants - Approved Payable Warrants #33154 to #33334, dated 03/23/00, totaling <br />$641,427.36; Payable Warrants #33335 to #33588, dated 03/30/00, totaling $1,136,345.87; <br />Payable Warrants #33589 to #33764, dated 04/06/00, totaling $428,863.22; Payroll Warrants <br />#205129 to #205523, dated 04/04/00, totaling $474,138.13, on file in the Finance Department. <br />(4) Financ - Approved and adopted a resolution requesting authorization to view sales tax data <br />from the State Board of Equalization, RESOLUTION NO. R-27-00. <br />(5) Budget - Wastewater - Approved and adopted a resolution declaring Intent to Issue Tax - <br />Exempt obligations to be used to Reimburse the City for Expenditures prior to Issuance, <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-28-00. <br />(6) California Environmental Quality Act - Approved and adopted a resolution amending and <br />adopting Local Guidelines for Implementing the California Environmental Quality Act (Pub. <br />Resources Code §§ 21000 et seq.), RESOLUTION NO.
