CITY OF COLTON <br />CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />JANUARY 4, 2000 <br />Regular Meeting held on the above given date at 6:37 P. M., in the Council Chambers of City <br />Hall, with Mayor Gaytan, presiding. <br />FLAG SALUTE: <br />Fire Chief Hendrix led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />INVOCATION <br />Chaplain Bob Johnson led the invocation. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />PRESENT <br />CM Donald J. Sanders <br />CM Kelly J. Chastain <br />CM Deirdre H. Bennett <br />ABSENT <br />CM James B. Grimsby <br />STAFF PRESENT <br />City Manager Garcia <br />City Clerk Barrera <br />CEREMONIAL MATTERS: <br />Presentations, Awards, Proclamations <br />CM Richard A. DeLaRosa <br />CM Betty L. Cook <br />Mayor Karl E. Gaytan <br />City Attorney Derleth <br />Proclamation read honoring Pastor James Stovall and his service to the community. He accepted <br />the document. <br />Certificate of Achievements read and presented to Felicia Frias, Washington High School Student <br />of the Month <br />City Manager Garcia apologized for not having recognition certificates for the Evolution Soccer <br />Team, who were present and were introduced to the City Council. <br />At 6:50 P.M., CM Chastain stepped away from the dais <br />Captain Heusterberg introduced three new Police Officers: Sean McFarland, Paul Vasquez and <br />Tim Heusterberg. <br />City Council Mins Jan 4, 2000 1 <br />
