M., in the Council Chambers of City <br />Hall, with Mayor Gaytan, presiding. <br />FLAG SALUTE: <br />Police Chief Crowe led the Pledge of Allegiance <br />INVOCATION <br />Chaplain Bob Johnson led the invocation. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />CM Donald J. Sanders <br />CM Kelly J. Chastain <br />CM James B. Grimsby <br />City Manager Garcia <br />Mayor Karl E. Gaytan <br />Acting City Clerk Delgado <br />CEREMONIAL MATTERS: <br />Presentations, Awards, Proclamations <br />CM Richard A. DeLaRosa <br />CM Betty L. Cook <br />CM Deirdre H. Bennett <br />City Attorney Derleth <br />❑ Certificate of Achievement was read and presented to Maria Isabel Jimenez for her <br />accomplishments as Student of the Month at Washington Alternative High School; Ms. <br />Jimenez accepted. <br />❑ Proclamation was read honoring Southern California International College (SCIC) & Summit <br />Career College for their contributions to the Community. <br />❑ Proclamation was read honoring Michael Berg as the Mayor's Citizen/Volunteer of the year <br />1999.
