BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS: <br />Cemetery Commission, District 6 <br />There was no action taken. <br />INFORMATIONAL ITEM: <br />CM Cook informed of her plans to attend the League of California Cities Policy Committee <br />Meeting in San Jose, CA, on March 23-24, 2000. <br />AGENDA REVIEW: <br />MOTION/VOTE: Motion/ second by CM Cook/DeLaRosa to approve the Consent Calendar, <br />except for Item 11 which was pulled and continued to March 21, 2000, carried upon unanimous <br />vote. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR: <br />(6) Minutes - Approved Minutes for the Regular Meeting held January 4, 2000, on file in the <br />Office of the City Clerk. <br />(7) Warrants - Approved of Payroll Warrants #203934 to #204327, dated 02/22/00, totaling <br />$475,782.03; Payable Warrants #31622 to #31847, dated 02/03/00, totaling $763,901.87; <br />Payable Warrants #31848 to #32086, dated 02/10/00, totaling $969,823.60; Payable <br />Warrants #32087 to #32269, dated 02/17/00, totaling $898,090.02, on file in the Finance <br />Department. <br />(8) Amicus Curiae Suppor - Approved a request to join the City of La Habra in an Amicus <br />Curiae brief regarding Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association v. City of La Habra. <br />(9) Weed Abatement Program - Approved and adopted a resolution regarding the Annual <br />Weed Abatement Program as administered by the Colton Fire Department and set the <br />Public Hearing for the Council Meeting of March 21, 2000, RESOLUTION NO. R-16- <br />00. <br />(10) Travel Cost over $1,000 per Person - Approved travel expenses exceeding $1,000 for a <br />police sergeant to attend an Office of Traffic Safety Grant Seminar in Atlanta, Georgia. <br />(11) City Employee Computer Loan Program - PULLED AND CONTINUED TO MARCH <br />21, 2000: Approve and Adopt a Resolution for the Employee Computer Loan Program. <br />(12) Award of Contract - Awarded a contract for tree trimming service, for the Electric <br />Department, to Mobray's Tree Service in the amount of $25,000.00. <br />(13) RFP, Gate, Brown Park - Rejected all proposals for the refurbishing and upgrade to the <br />electronic gate at the George E.
