Redevelopment Cooperation Loan Agreement <br />Mayor Pro Tempore Bennett read a letter from LA Mesa RV indicating it did not wish to proceed <br />with its action. With consensus of council, Mayor Pro Tempore Bennett declared that Agenda <br />Items 1 and 3 would be pulled. RESOLUTION NO. R-07-00 was not used. <br />Employee Computer Purchase Program <br />In response to inquiry, City Manager Garcia affirmed that the program applied to the City <br />Council Members. <br />MOTION/VOTE: Motion/second by CM Sanders/Chastain to approve a computer purchase <br />program for full-time City employees, that provides interest free loans to acquire computer <br />hardware, software and related support equipment, which are compatible with those used in the <br />City of Colton workplace. Motion carried upon unanimous vote. <br />PUBLIC HEARING: <br />Appeal -La Mesa RV <br />Agenda Item 3 was pulled [SEE Item 1 above] and RESOLUTIONS NOS. R-13-00 and R-14-00 <br />were not used. <br />Weed Abatement <br />This was the time and place fixed to consider the annual weed abatement (Spring) program. <br />Mayor Pro Tempore Bennett declared the Public Hearing "open." <br />City Clerk Barrera declared that the affidavit of publication calling the public hearing was on file <br />in the City Clerk's Office and stated that she did not receive any protests or objections <br />Fire Marshal Sork made presentation. <br />MOTION/VOTE: Motion/second by CM Sanders/Grimsby to close the public hearing carried <br />upon unanimous vote. <br />Motion/second by CM Cook/Chastain to begin the Spring Weed Abatement Program carried upon <br />unanimous vote. <br />ORDINANCE: <br />Second Reading Capital Infrastructure Study, amended; Fees and Negative Declaration <br />Assistant City Manager Parrish pointed out that in the updated version of Exhibit "A" under the <br />category for parks and commercial land uses, the "0" was replaced by "Ordinance 1522." <br />City Council Mins Mar 21, 2000 2 <br />
