CONSENT CALENDAR: <br />(3) Minutes - Approved Minutes for the Regular Meeting held April 18, 2000 and Minutes for <br />the Regular Meeting held May 02, 2000, on file in the Office of the City Clerk. <br />(4) Warrants - Approved Payable Warrants #33902 to #34185, dated 04/20/00, totaling <br />$1,824,910.19; Payable Warrants #34186 to #34335, dated 04/27/00, totaling $353,646.05, <br />Payroll Warrants #205916 to #206305, dated 05/02/00, totaling $490,208.15, on file in the <br />Finance Department. <br />(5) Amicus Curiae - Approved the request to join the City of San Francisco with Amicus <br />Curiae brief regarding Associated Home Builders of Northern California v. City of Napa. <br />(6) Budget - Approved the allocation of $85,218, discussed at the mid -year budget review, for <br />capital projects in Councilmanic Districts 1 through 6. <br />(7) Agreement - Approved the CDBG Delegate Agency Agreement with the County of San <br />Bernardino Department of Economic and Community Development (ECD) for the period of <br />July 1, 2000 to June 30, 2003, RESOLUTION NO. R-37-00. <br />(8) RFP/Restroom Facility at Cesar Chavez Park - Granted Approval to solicit Request for <br />Proposals to hire a general contractor for the construction of a restroom facility at Cesar <br />Chavez Park. <br />(9) Claims - Denied the Claims against the City submitted by Joo Hee Park; Clifford Bowyer; <br />James and Ruby Hamilton; Jamie Dorman; James Martinez; Jose and Cecilia Becerra; <br />Bradley Carter; and, Jesse Yanez. <br />(10) Personnel/Utilities - Approved the request for recruitment and ratification of the Senior <br />Consumer Service Field Representative position in the Electric Division of the Utility <br />Department. <br />(11) Personnel/Utilities - Approved the request for recruitment and ratification of two (2) <br />Powerline Apprentices in the Electric Division of the Utility Department. <br />(12) Change Order - Approved and adopted the resolution to declare that emergency conditions <br />existed in sewer lines on Norman Road, delegated authority to the Utility Director to order <br />actions required, and authorized Change Order No. 3 to El -Co Contractors in the amount of <br />$375.568 for the installation of sewer and water lines on Norman Road, RESOLUTION <br />NOS. R-38-00 and R-39-00. <br />(13) Award of Contract - Awarded a contract to Matich Corporation in the amount of <br />$133,894.40 for the Stormwater Missing Link Project. <br />(14) Water - Approved and adopted a resolution to declare that emergency conditions existed at <br />the City's 24" water transmission line, delegated authority to the Utility Director to order <br />City Council Mins May 16, 2000 4 <br />
