CITY OF COLTON <br />., CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />SEPTEMBER 5, 2000 <br />Regular Meeting held on the above -given date at 6:11 P. M., in the Council Chambers of City <br />Hall, with Mayor Pro Tempore Bennett, presiding. <br />FLAG SALUTE: <br />Councilmember Cook led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />INVOCATION <br />Chaplain Bob Johnson led the invocation. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />PRESENT <br />CM James B. Bennett <br />STAFF PRESENT <br />�--� Assistant City Manager Parrish City Attorney Dean Derleth <br />City Clerk Barrera <br />CEREMONIAL MATTERS: <br />Presentations, Awards, Proclamations <br />➢ Messrs. Cory Jackson and Jacob Horn provided an overview of the Future Professional <br />Leaders organization and emphasized its tenets: Brotherhood, service and scholarship. <br />➢ Proclamation was read declaring September 2000 as Selective Service Registration Awareness <br />Month. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />Code Enforcement Fees <br />This is the time and place fixed to consider adoption of a resolution establishing administrative <br />fines and penalties and amending various code enforcement related fees. <br />Mayor Pro Tempore Bennett declared the Public Hearing "Open." <br />City Clerk Barrera declared that the Affidavit of Publication calling the public hearing was on file <br />in the City Clerk's Office and stated that no protests or objections were received. <br />Sergeant Frank Coe indicated this was the final step in the adoption of the property <br />maintenance/code enforcement/administrative fines and appeals ordinance adopted on July 18, <br />City Council Mins Sept. 5, 2000 1 <br />
