MOTIONNOTE: There being no request for further public comment, motion/second by <br />CM Chastain/Ramos to terminate the Public Hearing, carried with CM Sanders absent. <br />VOTE ON THE MOTION: Motion carried with CM Sanders absent to approve option #3 <br />redistricting plan. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT: <br />The following citizens addressed the City Council: Apolinar Espudo, William Yahn, Ann <br />Kolman, Raymond R. Roa, Jimmy Babacos, Marco A. Tovar, Anthony Garcia, Charles <br />S. Jackson, Fred Cordova, and Harold Berkebile. <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: (Cont.) <br />Member Comments: <br />The following topics were addressed by the Members: September 11th World Trade <br />Center tragedy; Fleming Park Candlelight Vigil, possible relief fund. <br />BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS: <br />District 3 — CM Chastain announced the appointment of Carolyn Keifer to the Cemetery <br />Commission. <br />MOTIONNOTE: Motion/second by CM Ramos/Zamora to ratify appointments as <br />submitted carried with no opposition thereto, with CM Sanders absent. <br />District 6 - CM Zamora declared a vacancy in the Code Enforcement Housing Advisory <br />and Appeals Board and Parks & Recreation Commission. <br />ACTION ITEMS: <br />First Readina. Adding Section 2.04.030 to Chapter 2.04 of the Colton Municipal Code <br />MOTIONNOTE: Motion/second by CM Ramos/Zamora to waive full reading and pass <br />first reading of ORDINANCE NO. 0-16-01, adding section 2.04.030 to Chapter 2.04 of <br />the Colton Municipal Code concerning Local Gift Limitations and Disclosure <br />requirements. Discussion by members and staff followed with request for amendments <br />to delete gift limitations and gift disclosure. Motion carried with CM Sanders absent, to <br />approve ordinance as amended. <br />First ReadingOrdinance regarding Post -Employment Activities of Former Officials and <br />Employees <br />MOTIONNOTE: Motion/second by CM Chastain/MYR Bennett to waive full reading <br />and pass first reading of ORDINANCE NO. 0-17-01, regarding Post -Employment <br />3 <br />
