CITY TREASURER'S REPORTS: <br />Report for August 31, 2001 <br />MOTIONIVOTE: Motion/second by CM Ramos/Zamora to receive and file the City Treasurer's <br />reports for August 31, 2001. Unanimous vote. <br />STAFF REPORTS: <br />FINANCE DIRECTOR'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Master Lease Agreement for Equipment and Improvements with Municipal Finance Corporation <br />Finance Director Dilu DeAlwis presented for staff's recommendation to approve and adopt a <br />Resolution to Enter into a Master Lease Agreement for Equipment and Improvements with <br />Municipal Finance Corporation in the Principal Amount of $1,150,496, RESOLUTION NO. R- <br />126-01. <br />MOTIONIVOTE: Motion/second by CM Ramos/Chastain to approve staff's <br />recommendation. Unanimous vote. <br />REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY DIRECTOR'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Extension of Cooperating Advertising Campaign — American RV Expo Merchants Association <br />and Giant RV <br />Program Manager Greg Lantz presented staff's recommendation for Approval of Extending the <br />Cooperating Advertising Campaign by and between the City of Colton and American RV Expo <br />Merchants' Association and Giant RV. <br />MOTIONNOTE: Motion/second by CM Ramos/Zamora to approve staff's <br />recommendation. Unanimous vote. <br />UTILITIES DIRECTOR'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Colton Jets Generation Proiect <br />Director Tom Clarke provided a power point presentation and requested that the council give <br />direction to staff regarding the City's additional capacity and energy needs. <br />Staff was directed to set up a joint meeting with Utilities Commission. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Professional Services Agreement with Strategic Business Ethics <br />City Manager Daryl Parrish presented staff's recommendation for Council to direct staff to <br />prepare, and direct City Manager to sign Professional Services Agreement with Strategic <br />Business Ethics for Consulting Services. <br />5 <br />
