City Manager Daryl Parrish presented for approval Consent Calendar Items Nos. 7 through 19, <br />with changes to Item 10, as there was a park use request for the same day of the Ken Hubbs <br />event and the park would not be available until after 11:00 a.m. <br />Motion/second by CM Ramos/Chastain to approve Consent Calendar Items Nos. 7 through 17, <br />Motion carried with CM De La Rosa absent. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />7. Minutes - Approved Minutes for the Regular Meeting held January 15, 2002 and Minutes for <br />the Regular Meeting held February 5, 2002 on file in the Office of the City Clerk. <br />8. Warrants — Approved Payable Warrants #47584 to #47715, dated 01/17/02, Totaling <br />$660,378.22; Payable Warrants #47716 to #47829, dated 01/24/02, Totaling $654,216.23; <br />Payable Warrants #47830 to #47980, dated 01/31/02, Totaling $616,249.42; Payroll <br />Warrants #225388 to #225808, dated 02/05/02, Totaling $560,044.38, as recommended by <br />the Finance Director, on file in the Finance Department. <br />9. Senior Citizen Recreations Excursions — Approved and adopted a resolution for increased <br />appropriations for expanded senior citizen recreation excursions, RESOLUTION NO. R-23- <br />02. <br />10. Permit/Fleming Park - Approved request to reserve Fleming Park on March 23, 2002, for <br />Communications Workers of America with a start time of 11:00 a.m. <br />11. Permit/Fleming Park — Approved request to reserve Fleming Park on March 29, 2002, for <br />Calvary Chapel of Colton. <br />12. Grant/Childcare — Approved and adopted a resolution requesting approval of instructional <br />materials grant for City of Colton's Childcare Program, RESOLUTION NO. R-24-02. <br />13. Claim - Denied claim filed against the City of Colton submitted by Sheila Moten. <br />14. CDBG/RFP Infrastructure Improvement Proiects — Authorized solicitation for request for <br />proposals for professional engineering and design services for Community Development <br />Block Grant (CDBG) Infrastructure Improvement Projects. <br />15. Taxicab Policy - Approved and adopted a resolution adopting rules and regulations <br />regarding Taxi Services Pursuant to Section 5.48 of the Colton Municipal Code, <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-25-02. <br />16. CUA/John Egan & Associates Change Order — Approved amendment to the John Egan and <br />Associates, Inc., agreement in the amount of $8,900. <br />17. CUA/RFP Environmental Work for Water/Wastewater/Transportation — Authorized <br />solicitation for a professional environmental consultant. <br />18. CUA/Contract with Krieger & Stewart — (1) Approved amendment to the Krieger & Stewart <br />FY00-01 water and sewer line replacements agreement in the amount of $41,500 to add <br />sewer lines in District 3's CDBG Project Area; and Approve the Extension of time for <br />2002 FEBRUARY 19 CC/CUA MIN 4 <br />
