Joint Meeting with Colton Unified School District Board <br />(23) Adjourn Meeting to Monday, August 26, 2002 at 6:00 p.m. to join with the Colton Unified <br />Board for a workshop, at the Arrowhead regional Medical Center, Oak Room, located at <br />400 North Pepper Avenue, Colton. <br />Mayor Bennett announced the Adjourned Meeting and City Manager Parrish confirmed that he <br />would meet with the school Superintendent and a Draft Agenda should be ready tomorrow, <br />8/21/2002. <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />None <br />CLOSED SESSION: <br />City Attorney Derleth announced the need to add an Emergency Item to the Closed Session <br />Agenda and presented the criteria to add as an emergency item: (1) Item came to the attention <br />of Staff following the posting of the Agenda. The actual information was received the day before <br />the Regular Council Meeting; (2) May affect endangered species as the property is in the <br />escrow process, therefore immediate action is required or it may jeopardize the property <br />transaction. <br />Motion/second by CM Hernandez/CM Zamora to add the following as Item E. to the Closed <br />Session Agenda. Motion carried with CM DeLaRosa absent. <br />CONFERENCE WITH REAL PROPERTY NEGOTIATORS <br />Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.8.
