CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - ANTICIPATED LITIGATION <br />Pursuant to Government Code section 54956.9(b) <br />Potential cases: 1 <br />At 6:25 p.m., Mayor Bennett adjourned the meeting to Closed Session to discuss Item C, and at <br />6:58 p.m., the meeting reconvened with all members present as heretofore called. <br />City Attorney Derleth announced that the Council did meet in Closed Session on the following <br />items: <br />C. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - ANTICIPATED LITIGATION <br />Pursuant to Government Code section 54956.9(b) <br />Potential cases: 1 <br />ACTION: No Reportable <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING (con'td): <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />Appeal — Jack in the Box <br />This was the time and place fixed to consider an appeal of the Planning Commission denial of <br />the Design Review, Environmental Assessment, Conditional Use Permit, and Major Variance <br />for a proposed 2,561 S.F. drive-thru Jack-in-the-Box Restaurant to be located on the east side <br />of Iowa Avenue between the Days Inn Hotel and the Yum Yum Restaurant (File Index Number <br />DCV -93-01). <br />Mayor declared the Public Hearing open. <br />City Clerk Barrera declared that the Affidavit of Publication was on file and reported that no <br />protests or objections were received. <br />Community Development Director Zamora summarized the agenda report and requested <br />approval of staff's recommendation. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />The following citizens addressed the Council: John Bost. <br />2002 MAY 21 CC/RDA/CUA REG/SPC CPFA MTG MINS 2 <br />
