PUBLIC COMMENT: <br />The following citizens addressed the City Council in support of the Resolution No.(s) <br />R-77-02 and CPFA 2002-3: Fred Cordova <br />AGENDA REVIEW: <br />City Manager Daryl Parrish presented for approval Consent Calendar Items 6 through <br />23 with a request from CM Mitchell that Item No. (s) 10 and 17 be pulled for a separate <br />vote and a request from CM Hernandez that Item No. 11 be pulled for discussion. <br />Motion/second by CM Zamora/CM Hernandez to approve Consent Calendar Items <br />No.(s) 6 through 23, with Item No.(s) 10, 11 & 17 being pulled for a separate vote. <br />Unanimous Vote. <br />(10) Disadvantaged Business Program - Approved and Adopted a Resolution <br />Authorizing the Execution of the County of San Bernardino, Disadvantaged <br />Business Enterprises (DBE) Program; 2001-2002 DBE Program Goals; and <br />Authorize the Advertisement of the Public DBE Notice, RESOLUTION NO. R- <br />73-02. <br />Motion/second by CM DeLaRosa/CM Ramos to approve and adopt Resolution No. R- <br />73-02. Motion carried with CM Mitchell voting NO. Based on the recent Strategic <br />Business Workshop he could not support the item. <br />(11) Pedestrian Restriction - Approve the Removal of the Painted Crosswalk Lines at <br />the intersection of La Cadena Dr. and "L" Street. <br />CM Hernandez was assured that the residents in the affected area would be notified of <br />the removal. <br />Motion/second CM Ramos/CM Hernandez to approve staffs recommendation. <br />Unanimous Vote. <br />(17) Settlement of Complaint - Approve the Offer of Settlement and Settlement <br />Agreement and Its execution and implementation. <br />Motion/second CM Ramos/CM Chastain. Motion carried with CM Mitchell voting NO, <br />as the total monies were not being repaid and believed that we should only settle for <br />total amount owing. <br />E <br />
