Amending Chapter 18.,44 of the Colton Municipal Code to Permit Accessory Reta�il _Sales On <br />Residential Properties that are Listed on the Ci I of Colton Register of Historic aad Scenic <br />Resources <br />Waive Full Reading and Pass Second Reading of an Ordinance of the City of Colton Amending <br />Chapter 18.44 of the Colton Municipal Code to Permit Accessory Retail Sales on Residential <br />Properties that are listed on the City of Colton Register of Historic and Scenic Resources, <br />ORDINANCE NO. 0-08-03. <br />Motion/second by CM Zamora/De La Rosa to waive full first reading and pass second reading <br />of an Ordinance of the City of Colton amending Chapter 18.44 of the Colton Municipal Code to <br />Permit Accessory Retail Sales on Residential Properties that are listed on the City of Colton <br />Register of Historic and Scenic Resources, ORDINANCE NO. 0-08-03. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />Fred Cordova, resident, expressed his concern and requested further explanation on definition <br />of residential sales at historically designated homes. <br />Community Development Director Zamora explained that the ordinance states that sales were <br />restricted to indoors by owner/occupant. City Attorney Derleth further clarified that the <br />ordinance contains restrictions or conditions in the types of sales; it also specifically states <br />indoor sales only. <br />Motion carried with CM Hernandez and Mayor Bennett absent. <br />Ordinance for a New _WWastewwater Revenue Program to Meet Obligations of a State Loan and <br />Bond Requ-irements <br />Waive Full Reading and Pass Second Reading of an Ordinance for a New Wastewater <br />Revenue Program to Meet Obligations of a State Loan and Bond Requirements, ORDINANCE <br />NO. 0-09-03. <br />City Attorney stated for the record that the City of Grand Terrace indicated there are areas <br />where the City of Colton provides sewer services in their jurisdiction there are certain services <br />that the City of Grand Terrace provides for their residents in their jurisdiction. While end rate to <br />users are the same in Colton and Grand Terrace, there will be some administrative credits for <br />those services that they provide to Grand Terrace. <br />PUBLIC -COMMENT <br />Jean Ferrante addressed the Council regarding the raising of rates to the City of Colton and her <br />concern that the City of Grand Terrace was paying their share, and questioned date that Grand <br />Terrace paid for Treatment Plant <br />Mayor Pro Tempore Chastain assured Ms. Ferrante that this item was previously discussed at <br />the workshops; she would direct Water/Wastewater Director Fraser to address the questions at <br />a later time. <br />Motion/second by CM Mitchell/Chastain to waive full first reading and pass second reading of <br />an Ordinance for a New Wastewater Revenue Program to meet obligations of a State Loan and <br />Bond Requirements, ORDINANCE NO. 0-09-03.
