UNFINISHED BUSINESS: <br />Reimbursement Agreement/City of Grand Terrace <br />Authorize the Reimbursement Agreement in the Amount of $27,659.92 with the City of Grand <br />Terrace for Mt. Vernon Avenue Restoration within the City's jurisdiction. <br />CM Parrish presented an overview of staff's recommendation. <br />Discussion by Council and response from Public Services Director Jakker with motion/second <br />by CM De La Rosa/Zamora. Motion carried with Mayor Bennett absent. <br />PUBLIC HEARING: <br />Permit Accessory Retail Sales on Residential Properties <br />This was the time and place fixed to consider an ordinance of the City of Colton amending <br />chapter 18.44 of the Colton municipal code to permit accessory retail sales on residential <br />properties that are listed on the city of Colton register of historic and scenic resources. <br />Mayor Pro Tempore Chastain declared the Public Hearing "Open". <br />City Clerk Barrera said the Affidavit of Publication was on file in the City Clerk's Office and <br />stated that no protests or objections were received. <br />CM Parrish presented an overview of staff's recommendation to approve the proposed <br />ordinance amending chapter 18.44 of the Colton municipal code to permit accessory retail sales <br />on residential properties that are listed on the City of Colton register of historic and scenic <br />resources. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />The following citizens addressed the Council: <br />Dan King owner and resident of Hanna House spoke in support of the ordinance. <br />Fred Cordova, requested further information on the properties being considered, and wanted to <br />make sure Fleming Park was not included. <br />Discussion by Council and clarification from City Attorney Derleth and Community Development <br />Director Zamora to public comment concerns. <br />Motion/second by CM Hernandez/Ramos to terminate public hearing. Motion carried with <br />Mayor Bennett absent. <br />Motion/second by CM De La Rosa/Hernandez to approve and adopt an ordinance of the City of <br />Colton amending chapter 18.44 of the Colton municipal code to permit accessory retail sales on <br />residential properties that are listed on the City of Colton register of historic and scenic <br />resources.
