Proclamation - Holocaust Remembrance Day <br />CM Hernandez presented a Proclamation in honor of Holocaust Remembrance Days and it will <br />be mailed to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC. <br />Proclamation - Records & Information Management Month <br />CM DeLaRosa presented a Proclamation to City Clerk Barrera in honor of Records & <br />Information Management Month. <br />Proclamation - National Library Week <br />CM Zamora presented a Proclamation to Literacy Coordinator Ruth Martinez in honor of <br />National Library Week. <br />Proclamation - Support Our Troops <br />CM Hernandez presented a Proclamation to be displayed on the Human Resources Department <br />Bulletin Board in honor of Supporting Our Troops. <br />Presentation - Colton Palms Litigation Update <br />Redevelopment Agency Manager Candace Cassel gave a brief synopsis on the background of <br />the 1997construction defects, litigation against the Architect and the construction contractor <br />which was initiated in 1999. <br />CM Zamora stated that in the matter of Colton Non -Profit, et. Al v. Turner Construction <br />Company, et. Al, Colton Non -Profit and the Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton have <br />executed a settlement agreement and the agreement is available for public review at the <br />Agency's office. CM Zamora also thanked Howard Gold from BB&K, Redevelopment Agency <br />Manager Cassell, Assistant City Manager Al Holliman, City Manager Daryl Parrish, <br />Councilmembers and all staff who assisted in the process. <br />CM DeLaRosa thanked everyone who were at the meeting to accept their Proclamations. <br />PUBLIC HEARING: <br />CDBG <br />(1) This was the time and place fixed to consider the re -programming of $146,314.84 of the <br />Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Funds from the Colton Contingency <br />Account to two (2) CDBG eligible projects. <br />The Mayor declares the Public Hearing "Open". <br />City Clerk Barrera said the Affidavit of Publication calling the Public Hearing was on file in the <br />City Clerk's Office and stated that no protests or objections were received <br />Community Development Director David Zamora gave a brief synopsis of the Agenda Report <br />and requested consideration and approval of staffs recommendation. <br />2 <br />2003 APRIL 1 CC/RDA/CUA/SCPFA Mtng.
