Section 4 of Ordinance No. 1290 and Section <br />10.16.030 of the Colton Municipal Code is amended to read as <br />follows: <br />10.16.030 Sound vehicles - Where prohibited. No person <br />shall drive, operate, propel or park any sound vehicle with the <br />sound -making device, sound -amplifying device, or loud speaker <br />thereof in use or operation: <br />A. Within three hundred feet of any hospital or school, <br />at any time; <br />B. Upon any public street or way between the hours of <br />six -thirty p.m. and nine a.m. of the following day; <br />C. Upon any public street or way on any Sunday; <br />D. Upon La Cadena, 7th, 9th and 10th Streets between <br />Valley and "G" Streets and upon Valley, "G" and "H" Streets <br />between 6th and 10th Streets. <br />SECTION 2. Section 6 of Ordinance No. 1290 and Section <br />10.16.060 of the Colton Municipal Code is amended to read as <br />follows: <br />10.16.060 Permit - Grounds for denial. <br />A. The City Council shall grant the permit at the <br />time of the application unless the Council proves that there is <br />a serious and imminent threat of harm to the public health, <br />safety or welfare.
