11 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15' 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 wo ORDINANCE NO, 1612 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON ADOPTING AND ESTABLISHING RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS WITHIN THE CITY OF COLTON, ADOPTING THE NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE, 1981 EDITION AND THE UNIFORM WIRING CODE, 1975 EDITION, FOR THE PURPOSE OF REDUCING PERSONAL INJURY AND FIRE HAZARD FROM ELECTRICAL CAUSES, PROVIDING FOR RELATED MATTERS, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 1577. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. This Ordinance shall be known as the "Uniform Wiring Ordinance", SECTION 2. Those certain rules and regulations which provide for electrical installations and which apply to all wiring and equipment in- stalled, used, maintained, rented, leased, offered for sale or distributed for use, as set forth in those certain codes entitled UNIFORM WIRING CODE (1775 Edition) as promulgated by the Southern California Chapter of the International Association of Electrical Inspectors and NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE (1981 Edition) as promulgated by the National Fire Protection Association are hereby adopted as rules and regulations and codes of the City of Colton. Three copies of each of the aforementioned codes are on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City and are identified by Certificates attached thereto, reading sub- stantially as follows: "I, Helen A. Ramos, hereby certify that three (3) copies of the annexed codes entitled UNIFORM WIRING CODE (1975 Edition) as amended, and NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE (1981 Edition) are true, correct and complete copies of that certain code referred to in Ordinance No. of the City of Colton, and by said Ordinance adopted by reference and made a part thereof as fully as though set forth at length.
