Said UNIFORM WIRING CODE is hereby amended by de- leting therefrom the following sections and provisions: ARTICLES VII -XIII inclusive, XV, XVII, XX, XXI, AND XXIII are hereby deleted. SECTION 4. The sections and provisions of said UNIFORM WIRING CODE are hereby amended to read as follows: 10.1 Change of Name. As used in this section and elsewhere in said Code the term "Electrical Safety Engineer" shall be amended to read Building Inspection Director or his designated agent. 50.1 Standards for the Installation of Electrical Equipment Installations: All electrical installations, industrial, Commercial and residential, within the governmental jurisdiction covered by this Code shall be in conformity with the provisions of this Code, all applic- able State Laws, and the NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE, 1981 Edition. 50.4 Documents on File. Three copies of the 1981 Edition of the NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE are on file at the Office of the City Clerk and are hereby incorporated by reference and made a part of this Code. SECTION 5. The word "City" in the aforesaid sections and Code shall be deemed to refer to and designate the City of Colton and any reference to any act or any legislative enactment therein referred to shall be deemed to designate and embrace the statutes of the State of California, and amendments thereof, dealing with the subject matter thereby and therein referred to. SECTION 6. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corpora- tion to install, use, maintain, alter, repair, rent, lease, offer for sale, or distribute for use, any wiring and equipment used for electrical installation in said City, or cause the same to be done, contrary to or in violation of any of the provisions of these codes.
