<br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />COLTON, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING THE UNIFORM BUILDING,
<br />MECHANICAL, PLUMBING, HOUSING, SIGN, ADMINISTRA-
<br />TIVE CODES AND THE UNIFORM CODE STANDARDS AND
<br />THE UNIFORM CODE FOR ABATEMENT OF DANGEROUS BUILD-
<br />INGS; AND REPEALING ORDINANCES NUMBER 1579, 1593,
<br />1601 AND 1612 OF THE CITY OF COLTON AND ALL OTHER
<br />ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF THE ORDINANCES IPJ CONFLICT
<br />HEREWITH
<br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON ORDAINS:
<br />SECTION ONE: Subject to the within provisions the following
<br />codes and related documents are adopted;
<br />The Uniform Building Code and the Uniform Building Code
<br />Appendix Chapters 7, 11, 32, 35, 38, 49, 55, and 70,
<br />1982 Edition;
<br />The Uniform Code Standards, 1982 Edition;
<br />The Uniform Housing Code, 1982 Edition;
<br />The Uniform Sign Code, 1982 Edition;
<br />The Uniform Code for Abatement of Dangerous Buildings,
<br />1982 Edition;
<br />The Uniform Administrative Code, 1982 Edition;
<br />The Uniform Mechanical Code, 1982 Edition and Appendices
<br />Aand C
<br />The Uniform Plumbing Code, 1982 Edition and Appendices
<br />A, B, C, G, H, and I and Installation Standards
<br />The National Electrical Code, 1984 Edition.
<br />HEREAFTER jointly "the Codes."
<br />The Codes are hereby adopted as the Building Code of the City of
<br />Colton, for regulating the erection, construction, alteration, repair, moving,
<br />removal, demolition, conversion, occupancy, equipment, use, height, area and/
<br />or maintenance and other matters contained in said codes of all buildings and
<br />structures of any type whatsoever and each of the provisions in reference to
<br />issuance of permits, collection of fees, and each and every provision,
<br />regulation, condition, and term of said building code hereinbefore referred
<br />
