Any person, form, or corporation violating any of the provisions of this Code shall be deemed guilty of a misdemenaor, and each such person shall be deemed guilty of a separate offense for each and every day or portion thereof during which any violation of any of the provisions of this Code is committed, continued, or permitted, and upon conviction of any such violation such person shall be punishable by a fine of not more than $1,000, or by imprisonment of not more than one hundred and twenty (120) days, or by such fine and imprisonment. SECTION NINE. This Ordinance shall be, and is hereby declared to be, in full force and effect from and after thirty (30) days from the date of final passage and approval. SECTION TEN. Permits may be issued to: (A) Persons holding a valid unexpired and unrevolked State of California State Contractor's License, related to the speciality of the work being performed; or (B) Persons providing bona fide proof of ownership of the property and buildings for which the permit is being issued or their authorized representative. SECTION ELEVEN. One complete copy of "these said Rules and Regula- tions, which regulate the erection, construction, enlargement, alteration, repair, moving, removal, conversion, demolition, occupancy, equipment use, height area, and maintenance of building or structures and the installation and maintenance of heating, ventilating, refrigeration, and related systems in the City of Colton shall be certified to be" a true, correct, and complete copy by the City Clerk of the City of Colton and shall be kept on file in the office of the Building and Planning Director.
