That a Public Hearinq has been duly and legally held by the <br />City Council on the aforesaid recommendation of the Planninq <br />Commission. <br />G. That the followinq findings have been made by the City <br />Council: <br />1. Althouqh the current zoninq desiqnation is consistent <br />with the General Plan, if granted a Zone Chanqe the <br />desiqnation will then be consistent with existinq land <br />use in addition to beinq consistent with the General <br />Plan. <br />2. If qranted a Zone Chanqe, the proposed project will be <br />consistent with the General Plan. <br />3. Since the proposal is a paper chanqe, the existing use <br />remains compatible with its current surroundinqs. <br />4. The proposal merits a Neqative Declaration. <br />SECTION TWO <br />The zone reclassification herein above referred to are is hereby <br />approved and the Community Development Director is hereby directed <br />to amend the Official Zoninq Map of the City of Colton adopted by <br />Ordinance 1420 in accordance herewith to show said approval and <br />certify to the same. <br />SECTION THREE <br />Effective Date. This Ordinance shall be in force and effective <br />thirty (30) days after final passage. <br />-4- <br />
