The City Council shall nominate and <br />appoint the three remaining regular Commission members. All <br />members of the Commission shall be selected in accordance with <br />applicable City procedures. <br />The first Commission shall be constituted not more than thirty <br />(30) days from enactment hereof, and shall hold its first meeting <br />in accordance with Section 1.04E. <br />D. Term - Each regular member of the Commission shall <br />serve for a term of two years except as otherwise provided here- <br />in. For the first Commission, the one (1) renter member and the <br />one (1) owners member and three (3) at -large resident members <br />shall be appointed for three (3) year terms. Thereafter, the <br />successors shall be appointed for terms of two (2) years. Each <br />regular member shall hold office until a new member has been duly <br />appointed. <br />Each alternate member of the Commission shall serve for a term of <br />two (2) years except as provided herein. Each alternate member <br />shall hold office until a new alternate member has been duly <br />appointed. <br />If a vacancy occurs other than expiration of the term, it shall <br />be filled by appointment as previously prescribed herein for the <br />unexpired portion of such member's term. <br />The provisions hereinabove notwithstanding, a member may be <br />removed, at any time, with cause, by a majority vote of the City <br />Council. <br />Any member who is absent, without sufficient cause, from three <br />1.1 <br />
