South La Cadena Plan: The South La Cadena Drive <br />Corridor Beautification and Public Improvement Plan <br />as adopted by City Council April 5, 1988. <br />B. PURPOSE <br />The purpose and intent of this Ordinance is to meet the <br />goals and objectives of the South La Cadena Plan as <br />follows: <br />1. Beautify and create a marketable image from the <br />South La Cadena Drive Corridor through public and <br />private improvement program. <br />2. Create new job opportunities as a result of the <br />encouragement, protection, and enhancement of <br />existing investments along the corridor. <br />3. Increase traffic and public safety through control <br />of the aesthetic environment. <br />4. To improve the aesthetic environment for residents <br />within the South La Cadena Drive area. <br />-2- <br />
