11 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4i <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 0-3-90 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMENDING CHAPTER 3.28 OF TITLE <br />3 OF THE COLTON MUNICIPAL CODE TO GRANT CREDITS AGAINST SALES AND <br />USE TAXES OWED TO THE CITY OF COLTON IN THE AMOUNT OF SALES AND <br />USE TAXES PAID, IF ANY, TO THE COLTON REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY. <br />11 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1: Chapter 3.28 of Title 3 of the Colton Municipal <br />Code is hereby amended by adding a new Section 3.28.137 to read as <br />follows: <br />"3.28.137 - Credit Aqainst Pavment of Taxes. <br />Any retailer or consumer subject to a sales or use tax <br />under this chapter shall be granted a credit against the <br />payment of tax owed under this chapter in the amount of <br />sales or use tax paid, if any, to the Redevelopment <br />Agency for the City of Colton pursuant to the "Colton <br />Redevelopment Agency Sales and Use Tax Ordinance -- <br />Portion of Cooley Ranch, Project Number 4," as enacted by <br />Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton Ordinance <br />No. RDA -1-90." <br />SECTION 2: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of <br />this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once in a <br />newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in the <br />County of San Bernardino and circulated in the City of Colton, <br />such publication to be completed not later than fifteen (15) days <br />after the passage hereof; or in lieu of said publication, the <br />City Clerk shall: <br />
