1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />WHEREAS, payments by the City pursuant to the Mead -Phoenix <br />Project Transmission Service Contract (Members) and the Mead- <br />Adelanto Project Transmission Service Contract (Members) will be <br />used in part by the Authority for payment of the principal of, <br />premium, if any, and interest on bonds, notes or other indebtedness <br />issued by the Authority to finance the construction of the Mead - <br />Phoenix Project and the Mead-Adelanto Project. <br />NOW THEREFORE, this City does ordain as follows: <br />1. The Governing body hereby approves the entering into by <br />this City of (a) a Mead -Phoenix Project Transmission Service <br />Contract (Members) and (b) a Mead-Adelanto Project Transmission <br />Service Contract (Members), each in accordance with the terms and <br />conditions of the Composite Development Agreement. <br />2. Pursuant to Section 54241 of the Government Code of the <br />State of California, this Ordinance is subject to the provisions <br />for referendum applicable to the City. <br />3. This Governing body shall certify to the enactment of this <br />Ordinance and shall cause this Ordinance to be published in <br />accordance with Section 54242 of the Government Code of the State <br />of California. <br />4. Thirty (30) days from and after its enactment, this <br />Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force, in the manner <br />provided by law. <br />3 <br />
