1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10' <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 0-20-91 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF COLTON AMENDING THE <br />COLTON MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO <br />SOLID WASTE COLLECTION AND BUSINESS <br />LICENSES <br />WHEREAS, the Municipal Code of the City of Colton establishes <br />certain rules and requirements related to the provision of solid <br />waste disposal services in the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that certain of these <br />rules must be revised to reflect changes in circumstances, <br />including the City's increased cost of regulating solid waste <br />disposal providers. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Colton hereby ordains as follows: <br />SECTION ONE <br />Section 6.16.200 of the Colton Municipal Code is hereby <br />amended to read as follows: <br />Section 6.16.200 Collection --Permit. and Fees. Every agent or <br />independent contractor authorized to collect, remove and dispose of <br />refuse, in addition to any other terms or conditions to be <br />performed, before commencing such business shall obtain a permit <br />from the Director of Public Works, pay a permit license fee to be <br />determined by resolution, obtain a business license and file a <br />surety bond or cash bond in the amount of 100 of the applicant's <br />estimated annual gross receipts as determined by the City.
