The U.S. Environmental <br />Protection Agency or, where appropriate, the term may also be <br />used as a designation for the Administrator or other duly <br />authorized official of said agency. <br />(21) EPA. Environmental Protection Agency. See definition under <br />"Environmental Protection Agency." <br />(22) Exchange -Type Water Conditioning Equipment. A water <br />conditioning apparatus that is removed for regeneration from <br />the premises at which it is normally operated to a commercial <br />regeneration facility. <br />(23) Grab Sample. A sample which is collected from a waste stream <br />which is representative of wastewater concentrations and <br />attributions at the time of collection. <br />(24) Gravity Separation Interceptor. An approved detention chamber <br />designed to remove oil and grease, and solids from wastewater <br />before discharge to the POTW. <br />(25) Grease.
