wastewater, (iv) has in its wastes toxic pollutants as defined <br />pursuant to Section 307 of the Act, or (v) is designated by <br />the Director to have a reasonable potential, either singly or <br />in combination with other contributing industries, for <br />adversely affecting the POTW's operation or violating any <br />pretreatment standard or requirement. <br />(12) Class II User. Any Industrial User who discharges wastewater <br />between 10,000 and 25,000 gallons per day, except for those <br />industries identified as Class I Users. <br />(13) Class III User. Any Industrial User who discharges wastewater <br />at less than 10,000 gallons per day, except for those <br />industries identified as Class I Users. <br />(14) COD. Chemical Oxygen Demand. See definition under "Chemical <br />Oxygen Demand." <br />(15) Control Authority. The Director of Public Works. <br />(16) Cooling Water. Water discharged from air conditioning, <br />cooling, or refrigeration equipment to which the only <br />pollutant added is heat. <br />(17) Director of Public Works. The Director of Public Works of the <br />City of Colton or his authorized representative or deputy. <br />(18) Discharge to the Ground. A discharge of wastewater to or into <br />the soil which is not contained in an impermeable facility <br />approved by the Director of Public Works. <br />(19) Domes'-ic Wastewater. Wastewater from residences and other <br />premises resulting from use of water by people for ordinary <br />living processes. The maximum strength shall be considered to <br />RJN13576 4 <br />
