18.04.434 Subdivision <br />"Subdivision10 means the division of a lot, tract or parcel of <br />land into 2 cr more lots, tracts, parcels or other divisions of <br />land for sale, development or lease. <br />18.04.936 Transient <br />"Transient" means a person who requests accommodation for a <br />price, with or without meals, for a period of not more than 180 <br />days. <br />18.04.438 Transient Habitation <br />'�Transient habitation" means establishments primarily enqaqed in <br />the provisions of lodginq service on a less than weekly basis <br />with incidental food, drink and other sales and services intended <br />for the convenience of quests. Typical uses include hotels, <br />motels, and recreational vehicle parks. <br />18.04.440 Use <br />"Use" means the purpose for which land or a buildinq is arranqed, <br />designed or intended, or for which either land or buildinq is or <br />may be occupied or maintained. <br />18.04.442 Utility Distribution Facilities <br />"Utility distribution facilities" means utilities which are <br />necessary to support principal development and involve only minor <br />structures such as lines and poles. <br />18.04.444 Utility Operations Facilities <br />"Utility operations facilities" means facilities involved in the <br />operation ot various public and quasi-public utilities such as <br />telephone switchboard center, electrical qeneratinq plants and <br />terminals, sewaqe treatment plants and water pwnping stations or <br />reservoirs. <br />18.04.446 Valuation <br />"Valuation" means the estimated cost to replace the buildinq in <br />kind, based on current replacement cost. <br />18.04.448 Variance <br />"Variance" means a qrant of relief from the substantive provi- <br />sions of this title due to special circumstances appl�.cable to <br />the property. <br />18.04.450 Visual Obstruction <br />"Visual obstruction" means any combination of fencinq, hedqes, <br />34 <br />
