The notice must state that, in accordance with Sections <br />17274 and 24436.5 of the California Revenue and Taxation Code, a tax deduction <br />may not be allowed for interest, taxes, depreciation, or amortization paid or <br />incurred on the building in the taxable year. <br />SECTION THREE Permits withheld or suspended. <br />No building permit or occupancy permit shall be issued when the City <br />Council or a properly delegated authority gives notice to the Building <br />official to withhold or suspend the same, where it is deemed to be in the <br />public interest for protection of public health, safety or general welfare <br />including noncompliance by the applicant with any laws, contracts, or <br />agreements with the City or its Planning Commission, or improper land use or <br />failure to complete any conditions set forth by said City of its Planning <br />Commission, or improper land use of failure to complete any conditions set <br />forth by said City of its Planning Commission, provided however the permit <br />shall be released after approved corrective action by the applicant or <br />permittee. <br />SECTION FOUR Property access. <br />Before any building permit is granted, except as required by law, the <br />Community Development Director, shall determine that the site, lot or parcel <br />in question has adequate frontage upon a dedicated public street, adequate for <br />purposes of access, including access for emergency vehicles, proper utility <br />service, adequate drainage, complies with the Subdivision Ordinance of the <br />City, and further that the proposed use and/or construction is in compliance <br />with all other ordinances and laws including the General Plan and any Specific <br />Plan of the City of Colton. <br />- 4 - <br />
