1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />1 Q <br />2.30.070 Service at Pleasure of the City <br />council: Notwithstanding the provisions of <br />section 2.30.050 every member of a City <br />commission or Committee, shall serve in that <br />position strictly at the pleasure of the City <br />Councilmember or Mayor having made said <br />appointment." <br />SECTION 2: The following sections of the Colton Municipal Code are <br />hereby repealed: <br />1) Sections 2.32.020 and 2.32.040 <br />2) Sections 2.36.020 and 2.36.030 <br />3) Sections 2.40.020 and 2.40.030 <br />4) Sections 2.46.020 and 2.46.030 <br />5) Sections 2.48.030 and 2.48.040 <br />6) Section 15.40.050 <br />7) Sections 15.48.080 and 15.48.090 <br />SECTION 3: If any provisions of this Ordinance or application <br />20 thereof to any person or circumstances is held invalid, this <br />21 invalidity shall not affect other applications of this Ordinance <br />22 which can be given effect without the invalid provision or <br />23 applications, and to this end, the provisions of this Ordinance are <br />24 declared to be severable. This Ordinance shall be liberally <br />25 construed to achieve the purposes of this Ordinance and to preserve <br />26 its validity. <br />27 <br />28 <br />
