Any temporary promotional sign remains posted for <br />more than ten days after the event to which it <br />relates. <br />7. The City Council may, by resolution, adopt such fees as <br />are necessary and reasonable to cover the cost of removal <br />of illegally posted temporary promotional signs and the <br />Community Development Director is authorized to collect <br />such fees when any temporary promotional sign is claimed <br />by an owner, or by legal action after the claim period <br />expires. <br />8. This section is supplementary to the provisions of the <br />Uniform Sign Code of 1988 that has been adopted by the <br />city, and its provisions are in addition to the <br />provisions contained in Chapter 14 of the Uniform Sign <br />Code and not in substitution for such provisions." <br />Section 2. One complete copy of this ordinance shall be <br />certified to be a true, correct, and complete copy by the City <br />Clerk of Colton and shall be kept on file in the office of the <br />City Clerk. <br />Section 3.
