Chapter 5.46 of the Colton Municipal Code is <br />hereby repealed in its entirety. <br />Section 2. A new Chapter 9.26 is hereby added to the <br />Colton Municipal Code to read as follows: <br />"Chapter 9.26 <br />GRAFFITI ABATEMENT PROCEDURE <br />Sections: <br />9.26.010 Purpose and Intent. <br />9.26.020 Definitions. <br />9.26.030 Graffiti prohibited. <br />9.26.040 Notice. <br />9.26.050 Service of notice. <br />9.26.060 Appeal. <br />9.26.070 Removal by city. <br />9.26.080 Private property consent forms. <br />9.26.090 Public property. <br />9.26.100 Limitation of filing judicial action. <br />9.26.010 Purpose and intent. <br />It is the purpose and intent of this Chapter to provide a <br />procedure for removal of graffiti from walls and structures on both <br />public and privately owned property in order to reduce blight and <br />deterioration within the City and to protect the public safety. <br />The City finds and determines that graffiti is obnoxious and <br />a public nuisance, as defined in Section 9.26.020 and must be <br />-2- <br />
