"Business district" means any <br />business district as defined by Section 235 of the California Vehicle Code. <br />10,05.080 Posting of regulations. Whenever, by this title or any other <br />resolution of this City, any parking time limit is imposed or public parking is <br />prohibited on any municipal parking facility, it shall be the duty of the City Traffic <br />Engineer to place, or cause to be placed, appropriate signs or markings giving <br />notice thereof, and no such regulations shall be effective unless the signs or <br />markings are installed and in place at the time of any alleged offense. <br />10.05.090 Enforcement duty. It shall be the duty of the Chief of Police <br />to enforce the provisions of this chapter. The Chief of Police shall effect <br />enforcement through the use of Parking Control Officers. <br />10.05.100 Enforcement personnel authorization Parking Control <br />Officers and all City Police Officers are authorized to give the notice required by <br />Section 41102 and 40202 of the Vehicle Code of the State of California of <br />violation of any provision of the Vehicle Code governing the standing or parking <br />of a vehicle, or any provision of any title enacted by the City governing the <br />standing or parking of a vehicle or relating to municipal parking lots or structures. <br />10.05.110 Written citation. The Parking Control Officer or Police <br />Officer shall issue and attach in writing a citation for illegal parking, in the same <br />form and subject to the same procedure provided for by the titles of this City and <br />the laws of the State applicable to traffic regulations within the City. <br />10.05.120 Manner of payment. Payment may be made in person to the <br />City Treasurer at City Hall or by mailing the assessed penalty to the City Treasurer <br />at the following address: City Treasurer, City Hall, 650 North La Cadena Drive, <br />Colton, California 92324. <br />SECTION 2 One complete copy of this ordinance shall be certified to be a true, <br />correct and complete copy by the City Clerk of Colton and shall be kept on file in <br />the office of the City Clerk. <br />
