PURPOSE. POLICY AND DEFINITIONS <br />14.01.010 Authority <br />14.01.020 Purpose <br />14.01.030 Definitions <br />14.01.040 Conflict <br />14.01.050 City's Right of Revision <br />Section 14.01.010 Authority. This Title is enacted <br />pursuant to authority conferred to the City of Colton under Article <br />II - Section 7 of the Constitution of the State of California. <br />Section 14.01.020. Purpose. The purpose of this Title is <br />to promote the future health, safety and general welfare of the <br />inhabitants of the City of Colton by controlling discharges into the <br />City of Colton's Storm Drain System. This will be accomplished by <br />eliminating all non -permitted discharges to the municipal separate <br />storm sewers, controlling the discharge to the municipal separate <br />storm sewers from spills, dumping or disposal of materials other <br />than storm water, and reducing pollutants in storm water discharges <br />to the maximum extent practicable.
