1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27' <br />28 <br />Government Code Section 65858 to protect the health, safety and general welfare of the <br />residents of the City of Colton, the City Council hereby enacts as an interim urgency <br />moratorium on the processing of applications for and approval of any conditional use permit, <br />variance or building permit except as provided in Section 1 above to take effect immediately <br />upon the adoption of this ordinance and to continue for a period of 45 days or until the <br />11 Community Development Director has completed his review, evaluation and any necessary <br />modifications to the City zoning ordinance. <br />SECTION 3: The Mayor shall sign and the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and <br />adoption of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published and posted pursuant to the <br />provisions of law in that regard and this Ordinance shall take effect immediately and shall be <br />in effect for a period of 45 days unless further extended by action of the City Council. <br />APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of October, 1997. <br />ATTEST: <br />Carol P.
