Notwithstanding subsections (E) and (F) of Section 6.32.130 of the Cotton <br />Municipal Code, all unsold stock and accompanying litter shall be removed from the location where <br />are sold by 12:00 noon on January 3, 2000 and returned to the wholesaler for credit or storage. <br />fireworks stand and all accompanying litter shall be removed from the temporary location by 12:00 <br />loon on January 15, 2000. <br />Section 3. Notwithstanding Section 6.32.070 of the Cotton Municipal Code, the city shall <br />ass the applications received pursuant to Section 3 of this Ordinance by October 8, 1999 and issue <br />efts to eligible applicants in accordance with Section 6.32.080 of the Cotton Municipal Code. In the <br />t that less than the maximum number of permits permitted pursuant to Section 6.32.060 of the <br />m Municipal Code is issued by the city due to either a lack of applications or a lack of applicants in <br />I standing, the city shall notify, in writing, all persons who submitted a letter of interest pursuant to <br />ion 3 of this Resolution of the number of permits available for that year, in which case, such persons <br />submit a completed permit application that satisfies the requirements of Section 6.32.050 by 5:00 <br />on October 15, 1999. <br />Section 5. All other provisions contained in Article 32 of Chapter 6 of the Cotton Municipal <br />that are not in conflict with this Ordinance shall remain in full force and effect and shall apply to the <br />and discharge of safe and sane fireworks authorized pursuant to this Ordinance. <br />Section 6. This Ordinance shall become inoperative on January 2, 2000. <br />Section 7. Any provisions of this Ordinance which is declared by a court of competent <br />fiction to be void, invalid or unlawful may be stricken from this Ordinance and the remainder of this <br />nance enforced in accordance with it terms. The City Council declares that it would have adopted this <br />such severance notwithstanding. <br />2 <br />
