Based on the entire record before the City Council, all written <br />and oral evidence presented to the City Council, and the findings set forth in this Ordinance, the <br />City Council of the City of Colton hereby designates the Subject Site as within the M- I (Light <br />Industrial) zoning district as defined in Title 18, Chapter 26 of the Colton Municipal Code. <br />SECTION 2. Based on the entire record before the City Council and all written <br />and oral evidence presented, the City Council finds the Zone Change is consistent with the <br />General Plan of the City of Colton because designation of the Subject Site within the M-1 <br />(Light Industrial) zoning district provides for land uses compatible with the proposed <br />"Industrial" land use classification for the Subject Site, adopted pursuant to Ordinance No. 0- <br />14-92. <br />SECTION 3. Based on the entire record before the City Council and all written <br />and oral evidence presented, the City Council finds the Zone Change is consistent with the City <br />of Colton General Plan ('General Plan"), and will systematically implement the goals and <br />objectives of the General Plan. Moreover, the City Council hereby makes the following <br />specific findings in accordance with Section 18.58.04 of the Colton Municipal Code and state <br />law: <br />A. The proposed zone change is in conformity with the General Plan of the <br />City because a general plan amendment has been approved concurrently with the zone change <br />request. The general plan amendment changes the land use designation of the Subject Property <br />from "Low Density Residential" to "Light Industrial." The proposed M-1 (Light Industrial) <br />zoning designation is consistent and in conformity with the proposed amended general plan <br />RIVF1UB\MXb&511005 <br />70� <br />
