10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />i� <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />2z <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />building structure or property on which the nuisance is located may be served with a written <br />notice of intention to abate a nuisance in accordance with the provisions of Section 8.04.070. <br />8.04.070 Notice of intention to abate nuisance and pubGc hearing thereon. <br />The notice of intention to abate a public nuisance described in Section 8.04.060 shall <br />demand that the property owner, lessee, agent, occupant or person having charge or wntrol of <br />the building structure or property on which the nuisance is located, abate or remedy the nuisance <br />within a reasonable period of time, which shall not be less than seven (7) days. The notice to <br />abate a public nuisance shall also advise that if the nuisance is not abated within the abatement <br />period, the City shall hold a hearing to establish its right to abate the nuisance on the owner's <br />behal£ The notice to abate a public nuisance shall also advise the property owner, lessee, agent, <br />occupant or person having charge or control of the building structure or property on which the <br />nuisance is located of their right to contest the declaration of nuisance at a hearing to be held by <br />a hearing authority as appointed by the city manager to review the determination. The hearing <br />shall be set for a date after the period for voluntary abatement has expired. <br />I 8.04.080 Authority to enter upon land. <br />The city manager or designee may enter upon any building, structure or property for the <br />I purpose of posting or serving notice, or for the purpose of investigating or abating a public <br />nuisance in accordance with state and federal law. <br />I 8.04.090 Service of notices and order to abate. <br />Service of the notice of intention to abate a public nuisance, written orders of the hearing <br />authoriry, or other items as required under this chapter, shall be made by posting a notice in a <br />wnspicuous place on or in front of the building, structure or property in question, as well as by <br />any one of the following methods: <br />A.
